November wrap-up

Hi guys ! November has been a tough month for me, mostly because my grandmother is in a bad shape in the hospital, but somehow, I managed to read more than in October, and they were all fairly good books ! Here is what I read in November !

Complex | A.D Enderly | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | My review

Although a LOT happened in this book and I was a little confused by the characters and who’s doing what, I enjoyed reading a new fast-paced dystopia featuring sisterly love !

The Famoux | Kassandra Tate | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | My review

I absolutely loved this dystopia in which only the Famoux matter and passionate people ! It has stardom, secrets, drama and a great set of interactions between the members of the Famoux. I read it in a day, and I regret nothing !

Aunt Ivy’s Cottage | Kristin Harper | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | My review

This was such an emotional read for me ! It features family, secrets, and reminds the reader about the importance of family and protecting the ones you love. I loved everything about it and totally recommend it to you !

The Testaments | Margaret Atwood | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | RTC

I don’t know why so many people seem to have hated this. I thought it was pretty good and gave a new perspective to Gilead and the people living in it. If anything I found the ending a little rushed, but otherwise it was a great read !

Crown of Bones| A.K Wilder | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | RTC

I fell in love with the cover, the fantasy aspect, the magic in it, and I wasn’t disappointed ! There’s everything I love in it : royalty, adventure, trials, a conspiracy, and very special characters. Sure, it somehow fits the YA fantasy box, but it’s extremely well done !

Of Wicked Blood | Olivia Wildenstein & Katie Hayoz | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | RTC

I had this on my Netgalley TBR for so long I’d forgotten what it was about. I trusted my instincts and got to it this week. Well, it’s fabulous ! It has magic, mysterious artifacts to gather, a team bound by the secrets of their town and so much more ! I absolutely love it and I hope you will too 🙂

That’s it for this month ! I’m glad I managed to read so much as it probably won’t happen in December with all the work I have to finish for uni (and video games !) What was your favorite read this month ?
