I know, I know, it’s a bit late to post a wrap-up for February, especially after going off the map for several weeks… Buuuuut a lot happened, and I had absolutely no time to read, much less post! I’ll explain everything below, after the wrap-up. Speaking of which : I only read 5 books in February, due to the changes in my life, and me being in a slight reading slump at the beginning of the month. Also, almost half the books I read were DNFed because I couldn’t get over the writing style, etc. Still, here are the books I managed to read in February!
The Foxhole Court | Nora Sakavic | ⭐ & DNF
I frequently saw this series on Bookstagram etc, so I bought it when it was on sale for 0.99€ on Amazon. Unfortunately, I pretty much hated it from the start. I tried pushing it since I don’t like DNFing books before giving them a real chance, but this time, it was too much for me.
The Binding | Bridget Collins | ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | RTC
Many people seemed conflicted about this one, but I ended up really loving it! I thought it would be more fantasy than this, and more focused on the binding, but it turned out to be mostly romance. Still, I liked it, and the division of the parts in the books were really good!
Take her down | Lauren Emily Whalen | ⭐ & DNF
Saw it on Netgalley, downloaded it, tried to read it, understood nothing, DNFed it. Easy.
A History of what comes next | Sylvain Neuvel | ⭐⭐⭐
I hadn’t fully realized this was not fully a fantasy novel, but more on the historical side when I picked it up on Netgalley. Still, I enjoyed it a lot, and it got me curious to read the second book. Things are getting interesting, and I want to see how much historical remains in the sequel!
My hero Academia #6 | Kohei Horikoshi | ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Some real action is getting here! MHA is a classic in manga, and I can’t not love it!
Soooooooo I’ve been super absent lately, and it is mostly due to me looking for appartments with my BF, and struggling with agencies with documents, etc.. AND WE GOT OUR APPARTMENT! We’re renting, but it’s still a pretty big step in our life together. It was all very fast and we kind of had to run to get furniture etc, so I had very little free time! I wasn’t able to read much or post or take a look at other posts, but things are settling down a bit now, and it will get better bookish wise!
That’s it for today!
Thanks for reading me,
See you soon,
